On Thursday, December 24, 6:00pm, we will gather at Oakdale to announce the birth of Jesus Christ our Lord!

We will begin in darkness with the reading of the Proclamation of the Birth (known also as the ancient Martyrology) which refers to the time and moment of history that God chose to enter our world and be revealed in the person of Jesus. The Lighting of the Christ candle on the Advent Wreath will take place.  We will sing the beloved carols of Christmas.  The Lord’s Supper will be shared as we experience the presence of Jesus in remembering his words and promise.  We will conclude in candlelight with the singing of Silent Night.

All are welcome to share in the celebration of Christmas at Oakdale!
